Sonia Read

My greatest satisfaction and joy comes from the child who experiences success and self-esteem from an "I can do it" moment.” Sonia is currently teaching in the Twos/Threes and Pre-K programs.
Suzanne Daly
Suzanne began teaching at Trinity in 1998. After teaching the 3s/4s for eight years, Suzanne switched over to teaching in the Pre-K program. Suzanne graduated from UC Berkeley and continued her graduate studies at San Francisco State University. She holds an Early Childhood Education Director’s Permit in addition to a Standard Elementary Teaching Credential. Suzanne has lived in San Carlos since 1975 and her children are Trinity graduates. A four year-old’s world revolves around developing meaningful relationships with peers. Many of the developmental building blocks have come together in a way that enables a child to successfully establish and maintain these important friendships.
In addition, on-going communication with local kindergarten teachers confirms that Trinity’s philosophy of focusing on self-regulation skills and social expression is necessary for their success in kindergarten.
The Fours curriculum is designed to help each child develop the ability to:
• Recognize various levels of friendship and community
• Follow Directions
• Playing Cooperatively
• Pay Attention
• Control Impulses
